In 1996 she commenced her studies in Athens and by 1998 she became a qualified surveyor specialising in Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.). Following her graduation, she spent a year working as a surveying assistant in Preveza, Greece.
It was during her first years into the degree that her passion and interest in art grew stronger and was led to the decision of abandoning her career in engineering in exchange to one in the art world. By 2004 she was awarded a scholarship by The Art Academy in London where she began to study painting and sculpture (techniques included glass, woodcarving, clay, ceramic, metal) and in 2007 she won the Memorial Fund Bursary. Upon graduation in 2008 she was invited to remain in The Art Academy as a resident artist and spent two more years there teaching to undergraduate students while keeping an atelier in the nearby Chocolate Factory.
In 2010 she moved back to Greece where she currently lives and works. Aside from painting, she continues sculpting and experiments with mixed media and scenic design. She also teaches and runs several visual arts courses in schools and organises art-related seminars. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. Works of hers can be found in companies, museums and private collections in London, Malta, Paris, Cyprus and Greece.
